There was a time.....

That I cared what people thought.. I am what I am and I am proud of it-Same with my work.....either you like it or you don't. Either you want to support me, or you don't. I will just keep pluggin along because this is what I  love and NOBODY can take that away from me. A lot of people have watched me grow the last few years and only a select few who really stand by me. I believe some day my moment will come, and when it does there will be no stopping me! :D :D To all my friends and family- I thank you from the bottom of my heart <3<3<3 You know who you are ;-)

There was a time.....

Before I started in college to get my degree- majoring in digital photography, I had always said that straight good photography was all I was interested in, not all the photoshop and adjusting of images. Two years later, I have contradicted myself, for there are somethings that you can just not express enough with a standard image. Because I enjoy painting, I realize that using other techniques is more up my alley. I love taking a picture and creating different color, making other things stand out, brushing effects in, and just telling my own story while creating my own way of doing things. A point where art and photography come together.

In Loving Memory......

This picture is very dear to me in memory of my Grandfather who has recently passed. We went up to Montana to his home a couple of weeks ago, which was the first time we have been back since he has been gone . These lilac trees have been in his yard as long as I can remember. This would be last time....a farewell to the best Grandfather a girl could have ever had. He holds a special place in my heart as he does with the rest of my family. There are certain things that I hold very dear and I feel that our relationship needed no words because when we were together it was just a feeling of hearts. Being the first grandchild to be born, I got the priviledge of some very special memories and moments that only we shared. His baseball glove will be the most treasured piece I will ever have from times long ago. It was he who brought me the love of  softball that I even to this day yearn to do once again. He was always a cheerer on my side as he will be from above looking down. He was a part of wonderful childhood memories, as my uncle Mike....those two together- Wow what a pair- the two men that were by my side growing up when I had no other.
My grandfather's passing has brought a lot of vision into my life and my heart. I realize now where I must go and where my heart lies. My family that I love so dearly back in Montana is just as important as the family I now have as an adult- we need each other- all of us. It is sad how we all, at some time or another, take so much for granted and get too caught up in all the daily grind to remember the things that are most important.

TO MY FAMILY....I LOVE YOU ALL- YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!
